Successful Surgical Management of Tonic Toe Flexion Reflex by Tenotomy of the Flexor Digitorum Longus Tendon Under Wide‐Awake Local Anesthesia: A Case Report

ABSTRACT The tonic toe flexion reflex may present as a dynamic toe deformity only during weight‐bearing and can be overlooked. Flexor digitorum longus tenotomy under wide‐awake local anesthesia allows real‐time confirmation of symptom resolution and represents a practical surgical option when conservative treatment fails.
