ESCAPE Collaboration Distributed Computing Roadmap

This technical note addresses key aspects of distributed computing within the ESCAPE collaboration Research Infrastructures. It outlines a strategic roadmap derived from priorities identified by the experiment's experts to address both current and future challenges. The document is structured around three core pillars: Data Management, Analysis and Workload Management and AAI/Cybersecurity. Each section begins with an executive summary, followed by a more detailed technical analysis. An Appendix is provided with the consolidation of core initiatives into a set of targeted and actionable projects, forming a coherent program of work to guide future development and coordination across the collaboration.
