Abstract

Introduction: Ovarian cancer is a leading cause of gynaecological cancer mortality. Ca125, the most widely used serum biomarker, has limited sensitivity for early-stage and type I tumours, prompting evaluation of additional blood-based markers. This umbrella review assesses the diagnostic and prognostic performance of serum and blood biomarkers in ovarian cancer.
