Lawrence K. Wang (王抗曝), Hung-ping Tsao (曹恆平), and Ping-chang Su (蘇平章) (2026) 《三人行浮生文集:科學, 人文與一生情誼的三重對話》"Floating Life Essays: A Trialogue of Science, Humanities, and Lifelong Friendship" "Evolutionary Progress in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)" 8(4A), Lenox Institute Press, MA, USA. 72 pages. ABSTRACT: This article introduces (Floating Life Essays: A Trialogue of Science, Humanities, and Lifelong Friendship), a comprehensive collection of ten collaborative publications that celebrate a profound childhood friendship spanning nearly seven decades. This work contributes to interdisciplinary humanities by proposing a "trialogical model" in which scientific reasoning and literary expression co-evolve through lifelong human relationships. The three authors—alumni of Experimental Class 5 at the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (HSNU)—have seamlessly integrated their diverse expertise in environmental engineering, mathematics, and cultural history to produce an interdisciplinary body of work. Published primarily under the Lenox Institute Press in the STEAM and GHLA academic series, the collection encompasses three core themes: commemorative tributes to classical Chinese luminaries (such as Cao Cao, Su Dongpo, and Wang Anshi), poetic reflections on nostalgia, love, and mortality, and heartfelt celebrations of their shared youth. By weaving together the rigorous logic of science with the expansive soul of literature, this joint article not only honors the enduring power of human connection but also presents a unique dialectic of reason and emotion that bridges East-West cultural heritage. This publication contains three originally composed poems: the preface poem (Three Companions in Company), the main text poem (From Three Companions in Company to Three Return to One), and the post face poem (Three Return to One). KEYWORDS: Floating Life Essays, Childhood Friendship, Interdisciplinary Scholarship, Classical Chinese Literature, HSNU Experimental Class 5, Reason and Emotion, Commemorative Poetry, East-West Cultural Dialogue.
