Abstract: This paper makes an attempt to find out Unemployment Rate in India in perspective of Global Context. The problem of unemployment occupies significant place amongst the other problems of India. The rising level of unemployment problem in India have been facing serious effect on Indian Economy. In the global scenario, India exhibited steady economic growth. According first advance estimates of national accounts, India’s real GDP is estimated to grow with 6.4 percent in the year2025.1 the problem Unemployment in India is one of the oldest problem However, The unemployment rate has increase larger scale after having independence to India. The nature of unemployment in India to be found universal nature. To address the present study, Time Series Analysis of Least Square Method has been considered. And Regression model was used to fitting best line. To address the problem of Unemployment, the government of India and states government have been launched number of schemes like Employment Guarantee Scheme in Maharashtra, MGNREGA, JRY, RLEGP, National Rural Employment Programme and Employment Assurance Scheme . All these scheme have worked significantly but lack of awareness among the unemployed people and administrative bottlenecks, these schemes could not succeeded remarkably. However, India is continuously striving against problem unemployment so far. It is therefore India has been promoting rapid industrialization and infrastructure development to mitigate the problem of Unemployment.
