Eosinophilic esophagitis: From pathophysiology to diagnosis, monitoring and treatment

EoE management requires integration of clinical, endoscopic and histologic assessments. Current treatments effectively induce remission in most patients. Future priorities include developing non-invasive monitoring tools and identifying predictors of treatment response.
