README The MATLAB codes developed for the present study are provided in this repository. The MATLAB codes provided and tested using MATLAB R2021b. Users are kindly requested to obtain permission from the publication and the author prior to using these codes. In addition, proper citation of the associated research article is required in any publications or works that utilize these materials. The rainfall–runoff simulation programs based on machine learning methods include the following MATLAB files: ANN_RR_opt_Khazaei.m (Artificial Neural Network) GLR_RR_opt_Khazaei.m (Generalized Linear Regression) RF_RR_opt_Khazaei.m (Random Forest) SVM_RR_opt_Khazaei.m (Support Vector Machine) A sample input file for these models is provided as: Mon1_CV.txt Furthermore, the MATLAB codes developed for drought index calculations include: SPEI_Khazaei.m (Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index) SPI_Khazaei.m (Standardized Precipitation Index) SDI_Khazaei.m (Streamflow Drought Index (SDI)) Sample input files required for these programs are also included in this repository and are provided as additional .txt files.
