This dataset presents structured survey results on technology adoption patterns among adults aged 60 and older across five countries (United States, Spain, France, Brazil, and Italy) with responses collected in four languages (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian) during Q1 2026. The survey examines device preferences, daily usage duration, primary use cases, self-reported confidence levels, assistance dependency, perceived barriers, and preferred learning modalities. The global population aged 60+ is projected to reach 2.1 billion by 2050, yet digital inclusion research remains fragmented by language and geography. This dataset addresses that gap by providing directly comparable cross-national data using a standardized instrument administered in respondents' native languages. The sample (n=15,280 across all cohorts) is stratified by five-year age bands (60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+) to capture the steep adoption gradients within the senior demographic. Key findings visible in the data include: (1) a consistent 15-20 percentage point drop in online banking adoption between the 60-64 and 75-79 cohorts across all countries; (2) smartphones dominating as the primary device for ages 60-69, with tablets and desktops becoming more common for ages 70+; (3) video calling emerging as the primary use case for the oldest cohorts, likely accelerated by pandemic-era adoption; (4) family-mediated learning being the most common method for ages 75+, while younger seniors prefer video tutorials; (5) significant cross-national variation in barrier perception, with privacy concerns more prominent in France and data costs more relevant in Brazil. Technology-specific adoption rates for video calling, online banking, telehealth, social media, smart home devices, and voice assistants are reported separately, enabling granular analysis of feature-specific digital divides. This research supports the mission of Facil.guide, a multi-language technology education platform designed specifically for senior users.
