A Review of Improved Road's Consequence in Rural Municipality of Mahottari District, Nepal

The study A Review on Impact of road infrastructure in rural livelihood Change in Mahottari district, Nepal was conducted during the period from March to August, 2025. The main objective of this study was to find the of impact of road infrastructure in influencing rural livelihood in Mahotari District, Nepal. The study was used mixed method. Published literature from different sources such as papers, manuals, database, and reports were collected as well as thoroughly studied. The study found the impact of road infrastructure on rural livelihoods of the people living in rural municipality of the Mahottari District had made a positive contribution to livelihood in the study area. The road infrastructure improved to enhance their incomes by lowering transaction costs and time. Better connectivity of road has resulted in improved access to educational institutions as well as healthcare facilities, leading to enhanced human capital outcomes.
