Research on the Construction of Community-Based Elderly Care Service System from the Perspective of Active Aging

The rapid increase in aging populations worldwide presents significant challenges to traditional care systems, thereby necessitating innovative approaches to elderly care delivery; this study aims to develop and evaluate a comprehensive community-based older care service system informed by contemporary gerontological principles; employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative surveys with in-depth qualitative interviews to analyze existing service frameworks and assess their effectiveness in meeting the diverse needs of elderly populations, hence our findings reveal critical gaps in current service provision and emphasize the urgent need for integrated solutions that enhance social connectivity, healthcare accessibility; and security for older adults, thereby the study identifies several key areas for improvement.
