Intelligent IoT-based aquarium with wireless devices, servo feeding, pH-TDS monitoring, and automated water circulation

Nowadays, a lot of people like to keep fish as pets at home, therefore appropriate setup and upkeep are required, which appears to be somewhat tough for people. The primary challenges in maintaining fish aquariums are inconsistent feeding and inadequate monitoring of water quality. Therefore, it’s crucial to routinely assess the physical attributes and maintain the water quality. With busy schedules and owners frequently away from home, maintaining the aquarium manually becomes even more challenging. To address this issue, this research paper proposes a solution that introduces the design and implementation of an Intelligent IoT-based automated aquarium monitoring and controlling system with Wireless Device integration, with the aim of making aquarium care easy while maintaining a healthy aquatic environment even in the owner’s absence. The system has two core automation modules: a smart fish feeder and an automated water circulation system based on water quality monitoring, additionally, the system is enhanced with water level detection using a float switch. All the features are combined and managed in a customized software application developed using Blynk, which provides interactive buttons for autonomous operation and planned automation. This solution provides a scalable, low- maintenance, and user-friendly method of intelligent aquarium management interface. This project highlights the significance of automation in aquarium care and contributes to a sustainable and thriving aquatic environment.
