The Effect of 222nm UVC Irradiation on Germ Density on Breast Implants and Epidermis

This pilot study shows that UVC222 effectively reduces bacterial density on breast implant surfaces and submammary fold epidermis, supporting its potential as an intraoperative sterilization tool. Further studies are needed to assess long-term safety and efficacy in surgical settings.
