Genetic Insight for Vitamin D Deficiency in the Palestinian Population: A Canada–Palestine Diaspora-Led Study

Project Context This dataset was generated as part of a study investigating the genetic predisposition to Vitamin D deficiency in the Palestinian population. Data Description The dataset contains the targeted genotyping data of 69 Palestinian individuals. Specifically, it includes call data for 2 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs): - rs10741657 (located in/near the CYP2R1 gene). - rs7041 (located in the GC gene encoding the Vitamin D-binding protein). File Format and Content The data is provided in .XLSX. The file contains: De-identified or randomized participant IDs. Genotype calls for both SNPs (represented as base calls like A/G).
