If resource conservation can be correlated with the paradigm of the concept of «integrated development of mineral resources», then «resource reproduction» represents a new specific technogenic type of exchange of substances with nature. It creates new types of resources from the man-made «second nature» outside the subsoil, converting potential resources in the subsoil and outside the subsoil into real ones, that is, it increases the resources in the subsoil taken into account in a traditional deposit. The movement of uncreated and undestroyed matter in the production of metals will provide for the needs in conditions when the resources in the depths will increase, In such content, «resource reproduction» as a technology and function of production is characterized by the «principle of correspondence», when the replacement of one natural scientific theory in relation to the development of the subsoil by another does not reveal differences and contradictions, but promotes continuity between them, which can be expressed mathematically and explained by the internal unity of qualitatively different levels of matter.
