Non-viral techniques and active penetration techniques have been used together to deliver siRNA topically for the mitigation of skin diseases. Results: Preclinical testing has been done on several delivery strategies, and in a few instances, the outcomes have indicated potential for clinical trials. The utilization of multiple delivery strategies for effective distribution at the targeted site and updates on developments in non-viral siRNA delivery for skin disorders are covered in this review. Conclusion: Genetic engineers and gene therapists are actively advancing their strategic approaches to vanquish the challenges. They are refining vectors to maximize efficiency and exploring innovative carriers that have latent prospects for perfect gene delivery.
