The complete genome sequences of two Neotropical weasels ( <i>Neogale felipei</i> and <i>Neogale frenata</i> )

Genomic resources remain scarce for many ecologically important tropical species. Here, we present genome sequences for two Neotropical weasel species of the genus Neogale : N. frenata , a species widely distributed in Colombia, and the enigmatic N. felipei , which is endemic to Colombia and Ecuador and remains poorly known.
