Features of tool wear in the technological process of grinding railway rails

The study presents the technological features of grinding railway tracks with mobile grinding machines. Based on an analysis of the wear mechanism of grinding wheels with a bakelite bond, this paper summarizes theoretical and experimental data on grinding wheel wear, accounting for abrasive grain chipping and bond destruction.
