Raw data

This repository contains the data sets for the study titled, “Population Distribution and Asymmetry Analysis of Tectus fenestratus (Gmelin, 1971) and Canarium labiatum (Röding, 1798) using Geometric Morphometrics in Olango Islands, Cebu” The files include raw landmark data (tectus.tps and canarium.tps), an R script (raw_and_procrustes_landmarks.R) for generating both raw and Procrustes-aligned landmark plots, and an output and legend png files for visualization. Users can open the R script in R or RStudio, set the working directory to the folder containing the TPS file, and run the code to reproduce the plots. Required R packages (e.g., geomorph) are listed in the script and must be installed prior to running. Lines beginning with # are comments and provide explanations for specific parts of the script. The dataset and scripts are provided under the CC-BY 4.0 license, allowing reuse and adaptation with proper attribution. This submission ensures that the data and code are fully FAIR-compliant, allowing other researchers to replicate and build upon the analysis.
