Context: Women dairy entrepreneurs of Bharuch District of Gujarat have been pre-emptively taking part in dairy activities from the ancient days along with the agricultural activities by balancing family. They occupy maximum share in on-farm and off -farm sectors like fodder collection, cleaning shed, milking, taking care of little ones, nutrient feeding for the livestock, processing etc. Objective: Research was focused to evaluate the inclusive indicators and factors manipulating or responsible for entrepreneurial behaviour of dairy farm women during 2022-24 in Bharuch district of Gujarat state. Methods: Data was collected from 360 respondents through personal interview method using simple random sampling for identifying dairy farm women. Collected data was tabulates and cleaned in using excel and analysed using SPSS software. The respondents were categized in to diff erent grouped using frequences and percentages. Chi-square analysis was used to fi nd the association between selected factors and entrepreneurial behaviour of dairy farm women. Results: Responds (79 %) prefer cross breed animals and newspapers were (38.33%) major information source of respondents. Cosmopoliteness average index value for the respondents was found to be 0.69 with a standard deviation value of 0.45 followed by self-confi dence value was found to be 0.67 with a standard deviation value of 0.43 which conforms the importance of cosmopoliteness and self-confi dence among respondents. Variables like education, livestock possession, information seeking behaviour and market orientation exhibits highly positive relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour of dairy farm women. Signifi cance: Factors such as market orientation, training attended, livestock possession and education were found to show signifi cant contributions towards comprehensive entrepreneurial behaviour. These factors are also accountable contributing signifi cantly for the development of entrepreneurial behaviour were market orientation, training attended, livestock possession and education. These fi ndings would be insightful while upscale the training programs and to upgrade the required facilities to strengthen the dairy industry special to disseminate the required scientifi c information to the women dairy farmers.
