Use of the FFT distribution for parameterization of the FAM-C method in diagnostics of aircraft power transmission systems

<ns3:p>The article presents a method for parameterizing diagnostic features of mechanical gear transmissions based on measurement files obtained using the FAM-C method. The process of mechanical gear wear and the mechanism of rotational speed pulsation during power transmission are discussed. Using the power transmission system of the SO-3 engine as an example, computational and simulation analyses were carried out in the MATLAB environment, and the simulation results were then compared with real FAM-C measurement files. The usefulness of FFT analysis for identifying selected diagnostic features was demonstrated, and an example of the method's application in assessing the technical condition of the power transmission system of the Mi-24 helicopter was presented.</ns3:p>
