Methods of artistic vision and perception and their development (in relation to the artistic and pedagogical training of Chinese students)

The purpose of the study is to solve the problem of systematization of methods of vision and the formation of visual thinking, as well as their didactic characteristics in the context of professional education of Chinese students mastering the art at Russian pedagogical universities. The article discusses issues of artistic perception in intercultural training. The success of teaching Chinese students the visual arts depends on their ability to “by eye” determine the proportions of subjects and their relationship in comparison with the whole, as well as the ability to distinguish tonal and color relationships. Therefore, the result is achieved largely due to the developed eye. In this regard, existing methods of seeing nature and their differences are analyzed. The author draws a parallel between the concepts of “visual perception” and “artistic vision”, revealing their characteristics. Special attention is paid to definitions such as “integrity of vision”, “accuracy of vision”, and “visual memory”. The article also provides brief information on some approaches to teaching artistic disciplines (drawing, painting) in the context of the intercultural development of Chinese students. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the systematization of methods of artistic vision and the formation of visual thinking in relation to the specifics of teaching Chinese students at Russian pedagogical universities. As a result of the study, it was found that a systematic approach to eye development and taking into account the cultural context when combining Eastern traditions and the Western European school directly affect the quality of educational work and the formation of intercultural competence among Chinese students.
