Trends in the re-equipment of fire protection units with modern universal fire barrels

The article presents the results of an analysis of the structure of the fleet of universal fire barrels in the units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations using the example of six regions. Using the method of official inquiries, it was established that three manufacturers (EFER LLC, NPP ORT LLC and Uralavtocenter LLC) dominate among the hand barrels, occupying 71% of the fleet. The leader is EFER LLC (more than a third of all barrels), and the most popular models are RSKU-50A, RSKU-70A and KURS series barrels. The fleet of carriage barrels (126 units) is fully represented by the LS-P20U model. The main suppliers are Uralavtocenter LLC (35.7%), Pozhtekhspas LLC (19.0%), PTV Plant LLC (18.3%) and Uralmechanika LLC (17.5%), collectively forming 90.5% of the fleet. For two samples of LS-P20U (manufactured by Uralavtocenter LLC and Pozhtekhspas LLC) The flow-pressure dependences for all fixed positions of the regulator, which are absent in the operational documentation, have been experimentally obtained. The data obtained is recommended for inclusion in the reference materials of fire extinguishing managers in order to improve the accuracy of fire-tactical calculations.
