Applying Engineering Tools for Student Engagement and Problem-Solving

Many engineering tools can be applied to identify and analyze challenges faced by students, particularly during their first year.In this work, tools related Root Cause Analysis and Process Mapping are introduced to students, along with examples of how they are applied in professional settings.Students are then asked to demonstrate their understanding by applying these tools to their own academic and personal challenges.This approach empowers students to actively engage in problem-solving, while also highlighting the broader value of engineering knowledge in addressing real-life issues.
