Assessment of the Perceptions of the Quality of Performance Among Selected Handball Players

The purpose of the present study was to examine the perception of the quality of performance among selected handball players. The sample includes two hundred and twenty-five (N=225) handball players including seventy-five (N=75) of Patna district of Bihar, seventy-five (N=75) of Amravati district of Maharashtra and post-seventy-five (N=75) handball players of Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. The age of athletes was between 16 and 23 years. The perception of the quality of performance during the practice developed by Frey, Laguna and Ravizza (2003) was used for the present study. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the post-hoc test of Scheffie's Post-hoc test were applied to find out the difference between selected groups on the variable perception of quality performance and the significant difference and direction of the difference. The level of importance was set to 0.05. The result shows a significant difference between the handball players of the selected districts (i.e. Amravati, Patna and Aurangabad district).
