Spectroscopic and non-linear optical studies of erythrosine dye-doped boric acid glass system

The spectroscopic and non-linear optical properties of erythrosine dye-doped boric acid glass with varying concentrations of the erythrosine dye have been investigated. Absorption, fluorescence, and Raman spectra were measured and analysed for the glass samples. The results show that the erythrosine dye doping significantly affects the spectroscopic properties of the dye-doped glass. The absorption and emission spectra exhibit characteristic peaks, indicating the presence of the erythrosine dye in the glass matrix. The Raman spectra reveal the vibrational modes of the dye molecule and the glass matrix. Non-linear techniques like saturation experiments and optical bistability have been investigated.
