The evolution of the slow fashion movement: a multicultural perspectives

This article aims at presenting the evolution in the concept of Slow Fashion, as it expands its geographic scope. For this purpose, several Ibero-American productions were reviewed, in addition to the book “Sustainable Fashion and Textiles: Design Journeys” by Kate Fletcher, which gave rise to the movement. In this way, it was understood that the movement evolves in a disorderly manner, making it difficult to understand in depth its application and practice. Having distinguished these characteristics, finally, the article elaborates the concept of Slow Fashion.
