Research into the influence of ozone concentration on the completeness of fuel combustion and reduction of its consumption

This article analyzes fuel and energy consumption at livestock facilities and identifies the most energy-intensive processes, primarily associated with feed preparation. A theoretical study of heat losses in feed preparation lines is conducted, and ways to reduce them are proposed. Particular attention is paid to heat losses from incomplete fuel combustion in steam boilers, and the causes of underburning are considered. A method for reducing physical and chemical underburning by ozonizing combustion air is proposed. Theoretical studies of the effect of ozonized air on reducing hourly fuel consumption are presented. A production experiment involving the thermal treatment of feed in a process line is considered, and the resulting experimental relationships are analyzed. The results of experimental verification confirming the theoretical studies are presented.
