[Call for Papers]: First Doctoral Colloquium STAR 2026 The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite doctoral students, postdoctoral students and young students to participate in the First Colloquium for Doctoral Students, Postdoctoral Students and Young Scientists "Social Transformations and Adaptive Solutions" (STAR). The forum is jointly organized by the Doctoral Center of the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and the Learning Development Center of Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland. Why join? The colloquium offers an innovative and lightweight format (Concept Pitching). There are no additional reports, only an extended abstract (up to 500 words). This allows you to:• Protect the authorship of your research idea by publishing in an official electronic "Collection of Abstracts" (with ISBN).• Keep your full data unpublished to use them later for articles in refereed databases (Scopus/Web of Science).• Receive an official Certificate of Participation required for your annual certification.
