Research on the design and development strategy of intelligent system for agricultural cold chain logistics based on AI and Internet of Things

The cold chain logistics of agricultural products is crucial for ensuring the quality and food safety of agricultural products. This study focuses on an intelligent system for cold chain logistics of agricultural products based on AI and the Internet of Things. Currently, the scale of China's agricultural cold chain logistics market is continuously expanding, but there are problems such as weak infrastructure, difficulties in technological integration, and poor operational management. AI and IoT technology provide new avenues to address these issues. The Internet of Things technology achieves real-time data collection, transmission, and sharing through the deployment of sensors, covering various links such as agricultural product production, warehousing, and transportation. AI technology utilizes powerful data processing capabilities to make intelligent predictions and decisions, optimize transportation routes and inventory management, and detect agricultural product quality through image recognition. This study designed a smart system with a four layer architecture of perception, network, data processing, and application, including multiple key functional modules such as intelligent temperature and humidity regulation, inventory management optimization, etc. At the same time, development strategies are proposed, such as exploring the application of cutting-edge technologies, strengthening technological integration, seeking policy support and improving industry standards, and promoting school enterprise cooperation to cultivate and introduce professional talents, in order to promote the intelligent development of agricultural cold chain logistics.
