Features of organizing independent physical training among cadets of the EMERCOM of Russia in modern conditions

This research discusses the issues and prospects of organizing independent physical training of cadets of educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in modern conditions. The relevance of the topic is due to the need for future specialists to develop stable professionally important physical qualities and maintain a high level of efficiency, which is directly related to the successful performance of official duties. In the context of reduced classroom hours and reduced physical activity, independent physical training is becoming a key element of the educational process. The research purpose is to substantiate effective methods and forms of independent physical training of cadets of educational organizations of the EMERCOM of Russia in modern conditions, taking into account the need to form stable professionally significant physical qualities in them. The paper highlights the importance of an integrated approach to organizing self-study, including logistical support, the introduction of digital resources and the development of self-control skills. We analyze the results of a survey of cadets aimed at identifying the features and conditions of organizing their independent physical training (N = 121, Yekaterinburg, 2025). Special attention is paid to the need for individualization of programs, regular updating of methodological materials and constant monitoring of results, which allows students to form a responsible attitude to their own health and professional training.
