Event Report 'Responsible Research in Action'

'Research cultures' is a well-established theme and strategic priority for Science Europe. Its 2025 Vision and Framework for Research Cultures commits the association to enable action through community dialogue and collaboratively develop and implement initiatives together with research professionals, institutions, and stakeholders.As part of this commitment, the co-chairs of the Science Europe Working Group on Research Culture organised a two-day community workshop during the September 2025 Responsible Research in Action Unconference in Berlin, to help translate the Vision into practical action. This report summarises the workshop’s discussionsand structure, and recognises the contributions of the participants who co-designed actions to enact the Vision – outputs that will directly inform Science Europe’s future activities.
