fits_parser v0.1.0 Initial public release of fits_parser, a lightweight Ruby gem for astronomy FITS (.fit/.fits) parsing. Added FITS HDU parsing (parse_hdus) with header extraction and data offsets/sizes. Basic FITS header value parsing (string, boolean, integer, float). BINTABLE support: Column metadata via bintable_columns. Full table read via read_bintable. Streaming row iteration via each_bintable_row for memory-safe processing. Support for common TFORM codes: A, B, I, J, K, E, D. CLI utility: bin/fits-parser /path/to/file.fit for HDU JSON summaries. Test suite with generated FIT fixtures (no external data dependency).
