Abstract

simeng manages the engineering maintenance commands for MPO BepiColombo Integrated Observatory – SYStem (SIMBIO-SYS) instrument aboard the ESA mission BepiColombo to Mercury. Its purpose is to generate power-on, power-off, and general engineering management sequences in a CSV format, as defined internally by the SimbioSys team. The software takes the Short Term Planning (STP) as input and filters mission events occurring within the STP's timeframe. Based on the identified events, it generates the appropriate SimbioSys management sequences.
