The use of 3D simulation for development of functional control elements for aviation simulators and semi-physical modeling complexes

The article discusses the application of 3D modeling and 3D printing technologies in the development of control elements for aviation simulators and semi-physical modeling complexes. Constructive solutions are presented, including a block of engine control levers with a tackle system on steel cables and a control handle with a magnetic spring mechanism. The possibility of replacing traditional methods of processing aluminum alloys with additive technologies using engineering plastics ABS and PETG is shown. A coherent methodology for the development of 3D models for simulator components has been formulated. This comprehensive workflow comprises the following stages: preprocessing of graphical reference materials, creation of preliminary sketches, definition of technical and design parameters, selection of optimal software, construction of basic geometry with subsequent detailing, UV unwrapping for surface projection, application of material visual properties (texturing), and final model optimization. The implementation of this methodology is projected to reduce the economic costs associated with manufacturing control elements while preserving their ergonomic characteristics and functional reliability.
