The research purpose is to identify the correlation of the emotional burnout of employees and the social and psychological climate of the organization. To determine the main categories of research – emotional burnout and social and psychological climate – we conducted an analysis, synthesis and generalization of foreign and national scientific works in psychology and ergonomics. To conduct the diagnostic study, an express methodology was used to study the social and psychological climate in the team (O.S. Mikhalyuk and A.Yu. Shalyto) and “Diagnosis of emotional burnout” by V.V. Boyko. To mathematically process the obtained results to identify the correlation between the indicators, the Spearman criterion was calculated. In the course of practical research, we obtained the following results: from a sample of 60 people a third of respondents experience prerequisites for the formation of emotional burnout syndrome, some employees are already in a state of emotional burnout and need urgent psychological help – 15 %, 53 % of employees have signs of emotional burnout at a low level. At the same time, in most cases – 55 % – employees note the climate within the organization as favorable. One fifth, or 20 %, believes that the climate is unfavorable. The rest of the respondents believe that the climate is favorable at an average level. The obtained results can be used to develop and implement programs to improve the social and psychological climate in teams, which, in turn, will contribute to reducing the level of emotional burnout among employees. The value of the study lies in the fact that it provides new empirical data on the impact of the social and psychological climate on the level of emotional burnout among medical professionals, which had not previously been sufficiently investigated in healthcare.
