Beyond Binary Life: Deterministic Qutrit Cellular Automata for Emergent Resonant Dynamics (v136.0.0)

This preprint introduces Qutrit Life Automata (QLA), a deterministic three-state cellular automaton framework extending classical binary cellular automata into a qutrit-inspired lattice state space. Each cell evolves over a bounded Moore-neighborhood grid using three discrete states: vacuum (0), active (1), and resonant (2). The framework supports deterministic evolution, replay-safe histories, oscillator detection, entropy-based stability analysis, and connected-component cluster topology. Implemented within the QSOL QEC framework (v136.0.0), this work formalizes a reproducible emergent-dynamics simulation environment designed for studying resonant oscillators, phase transitions, attractor behavior, and bounded dynamical systems.
