Technical aspects of hybrid organo-inorganic adsorbent formation based on aluminosilicate waste for industrial wastewater treatment from heavy metal ions

This study is focused on the development and technical evaluation of hybrid adsorbents to address environmental safety problems associated with water pollution by heavy metal ions. Using a suite of instrumental techniques, the physicochemical properties of domestic aluminosilicates and industrial wastes were studied as raw materials to reduce anthropogenic impact. Key process factors affecting sorption capacity were identified, and optimal technical parameters for acid activation were determined to produce efficient adsorbents. The degree of Cr⁶⁺ extraction was established as a function of technologically critical variables: medium pH, phase contact time, and raw material type. A technical concept for creating hybrid adsorbents from construction and metallurgical waste was developed. A detailed technological scheme for processing aluminosilicate materials into novel composites is proposed, outlining key unit operations. Technical recommendations for the application of these materials in wastewater treatment systems for galvanic and metallurgical industries are provided.
