Spatial dataset of ecosystem functions in Coyhaique Province, Chilean Patagonia

This dataset contains six ecosystem-function raster layers for a forest landscape in Coyhaique Province, Chilean Patagonia. The layers represent key ecosystem functions analysed in the associated study, including carbon storage, nutrient availability, water regulation, erosion control, habitat quality, and ecological connectivity. The original analyses were conducted at 30 m spatial resolution. For data sharing and repository accessibility, the ecosystem function rasters provided here were aggregated to 300 m resolution, preserving landscape-scale spatial patterns while reducing data volume. All raster layers are continuous and normalized to a 0–1 scale, where higher values indicate higher functional performance. The ecosystem functions were derived using a combination of remote sensing data, spatial modelling approaches, and environmental variables.
