RESEARCHER'S INFORMATION PORTFOLIO IN THE ERA OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

In the era of digital transformation, research is undergoing significant changes due to the development of modern technologies, particularly information platforms based on generative artificial intelligence. As a result, there is a rethinking of research activities and a need to update the methods and approaches used. Traditional data processing methods are no longer sufficient to handle the vast amounts of information available. The tools included in a researcher's information portfolio are rapidly evolving, requiring constant monitoring of new developments. The researcher's information portfolio in the current realities includes a variety of tools that are used in a comprehensive manner, as well as methods, ethical aspects, and regulations for the use of generative artificial intelligence technologies (GOSTs) in research activities. Artificial intelligence is becoming an indispensable assistant (co-worker) that ensures efficiency in analyzing large amounts of information, quickly identifying patterns, and optimizing time resources for analyzing and interpreting the results obtained. Along with this, there are many problematic aspects, such as ethical issues regarding the permissibility of using generative artificial intelligence in research activities, bias in the information obtained, falsification of results, superficial analysis, and so on. The purpose of this work is to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the use of generative artificial intelligence capabilities in research activities.
