Aurora intensities calculated from the images of the All-Sky Cameras, at Kilpisjärvi ('KIL'), Abikso ('ABK') and Sodankylä ('SOD'), as used in the paper "Statistical analysis of auroral brightness and geomagnetic disturbances as described by the local R index", by van de Kamp, Laitinen, Kauristie, Partamies, Raita, and Grandin. Each value is an average of the intensity from the central part of the camera image, calibrated in Rayleighs. The method of calculation is described in the paper. The periods covered by these data are the same as used in the paper: KIL: July 2013 - December 2023ABK: July 2015 - December 2023SOD: July 2012 - April 2021 The data from KIL and ABK have background values subtracted, and therefore represent only the aurora intensities. Because of the background subtraction, negative values also occur; these can be interpreted as zeros. The data from SOD do not have background values subtracted, as those were not available. These data therefore include also background intensities. The data are given in CSV-format, in zipped files. There is one file per colour (blue, green, red) and per camera. The files contain the time stamps and the intensities. The exact format is described in the headers.
