Teapot Dome oil field characterization using the reverse time holography method

The applying of the new Reverse Time Holography (RTH) method, which is a vector generalization of the RTM method, to Teapot Dome oil field is presented. The RTH method integrates velocity modelling and seismic attribute analysis using an extended acoustic time-depended scattering model. It turned out that the RTH method does not require preliminary calculation of near-surface static corrections when surface elevation data is available. High spatial resolution RTH attributes enable detailed characterization of Lithotypes, fault mapping and other geological properties. The voxel-based and hyper-attributive nature of RTH makes it a powerful tool for geological prediction and classification, offering significant advancements in seismic exploration.
