Advanced Engineering School Comprehensive Aviation Engineering: Application of VR Technology in the Training of Engineering Personnel for the Aviation Industry

The article discusses the experience of the KAI Advanced Engineering School in implementing virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies in the training of engineering personnel for the aviation industry. VR simulators enable students to master complex technological operations safely and effectively, without the risk of damaging expensive parts and equipment. Virtual scenarios for assembly and working with composite materials provide opportunities for repeated practice of training actions and error analysis. The solutions developed at KAI are aimed at reducing costs, improving the quality of specialist training, and integrating into digital twins of production processes.
