It is evident that global shocks in terms of both environmental and economics have hindered the poverty alleviation pathways throughout Asian territories. Considering the same, re-building resilience and adaptation calls for development trajectories that are inclusive enough to integrate the environmental, social and economic aspects of vulnerability. This study critically examines the trajectory of several Asian countries towards addressing multi-faceted challenges and mitigation strategies. It delves deeper into extracting insights from case studies which circumscribe vital discourses like community responses, disaster preparedness, systemic disruptions, and climate policies in alignment of sustainable development goals (SDGs). It also explores several governmental protective measures, inclusivity and adaptation strategies towards diluting the aftershock effects through grounded case studies and thereby showering ideas of innovative adaptations. The analysis will vouch for policy paradigm shifts towards strengthening the optimistic achievements of SDGs by 2030.
