Prospects for Combination Antiarrhythmic Drug Therapy in Cardiology: Is It Time for a Polypill?

In this article, we discuss the feasibility of combination antiarrhythmic drug therapy in the form of a polypill. In our opinion, this type of treatment is currently limited by various factors discussed in this article. Large-sample studies are needed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of different antiarrhythmic drug combinations in patients with atrial fibrillation, as well as supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
