Abstract

Future directions offer optimism through precision medicine, but a comprehensive conclusive survey of treatment-resistant bipolar disorder remains premature in its current state of research. Current challenges underscore the importance of creating a clearly defined classification system to improve diagnostic clarity and the consistency of research and clinical outcomes.
