Discussion on the results of the 14th CPV Congress and Vietnam's development over the past half-century (review of the conference “Vietnam: memorable milestones of 2026” held on February 12-13, 2026, ICCA RAS)

This article provides an overview of the presentations by Russian and foreign scholars at the international conference dedicated to the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese unification. The presentations examined achievements and challenges in Vietnam's domestic and foreign policy, socioeconomic development and culture. Particular attention was paid to the state of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation. The discussion of the presentations was objective and comprehensive, and the scholarly debate led to a shared conclusion about Vietnam's significant progress and successful resolution of the challenges facing the country.
