The manifestation of aggressive behavior in primary school age is an issue that is currently increasingly worrying teachers, parents and psychologists. The research purpose is to identify effective pedagogical conditions for correcting aggressive behavior in younger schoolchildren. At the ascertaining stage of the experiment, in children aged 9 to 11 years (N = 20, Khabarovsk, 2025), the predominance of verbal aggression was revealed using the following methods: the projective graphic technique “Cactus”; “Scale of direct and indirect aggression”; “Crocodiles”. However, despite the average level of aggressiveness found in children, there is a need in targeted correctional work and special pedagogical conditions decreasing aggression of younger schoolchildren in school. Taking into account the obtained results, a work plan was drawn up, the activities of which are aimed at overcoming the aggressive behavior of students. The following pedagogical conditions were used for the effectiveness of correctional work: organization of children's emotional safety, implementation of a differentiated approach taking into account the individual characteristics of the child, implementation of a personal approach, development of emotional literacy, aesthetics of the educational environment, modeling of nonviolent communication strategies. During the classes, we used fairy tale therapy, game therapy, art therapy, conversations, relaxation. As a result of the implementation of the developed extracurricular activities course, it was found that the work consisted of play and creative activities of younger schoolchildren creates effective pedagogical conditions for overcoming aggressive behavior of children of this age. Practical recommendations were given for correcting aggressive behavior in children in difficult situations.
