Research and implementation of multi-objective decision algorithm for improving management efficiency in higher education institutions

This article focuses on the multi-objective decision-making of university management, aiming at improving the practicability and operability of the decision-making scheme. By improving the Non-Dominant Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II), we not only consider the relationship and conflict between the multi-objectives of university management, but also optimize it according to the actual management situation of universities. Experiments were carried out in three representative universities, A, B and C, to evaluate the resource allocation, the accuracy and timeliness of management decisions and the balanced development of teaching, scientific research and administration. The results show that, in terms of resource allocation balance, the improved algorithm has a human resource allocation balance of 0.88, while the traditional algorithm is only 0.65; In terms of the accuracy of management decision-making, in the 50th decision-making, the accuracy of the improved C algorithm in universities reached 94%, while that of the traditional algorithm was only 76%. This shows that the improved NSGA-II algorithm has obvious advantages compared with the traditional algorithm, which can provide a better decision-making scheme for university management and improve the efficiency and quality of university management.
