Introduction. In modern conditions, the preservation and strengthening of adolescents’ psycho-emotional health is an urgent task of the physical education system and health-oriented recreational activities. Summer recreation camps create favorable conditions for combining physical activity with psychological recovery. In this context, the use of beach football is of particular interest as an accessible and emotionally engaging means of health-oriented and recreational work with adolescents. The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of health-oriented recreational beach football activities conducted in summer recreation camps on the psycho-emotional state of adolescents in Ukraine. Materials and methods. The study involved the analysis of data from scientific literature and the generalization of best practices in physical education of early adolescents. The following methods were used: pedagogical methods (pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiments - preliminary, ascertaining, and formative; pedagogical testing); anthropometric methods; medical-biological methods; psychodiagnostic methods; sociological methods; and methods of mathematical statistics. Results. In the course of the study, a program of health-oriented recreational beach football activities for adolescents in summer recreation camps was developed and implemented. The program was carried out throughout the camp session and included systematic training sessions using game-based, tactical, and team elements of beach football. To assess the effectiveness of the program, a comparative analysis of adolescents’ psycho-emotional state indicators was conducted using the HAM method at the ascertaining and formative stages of the experiment. The results demonstrated a positive dynamics in indicators of well-being, activity, and mood in the experimental group, confirming the effectiveness of the implemented health-oriented recreational beach football activities. Conclusions. The results obtained using the HAM method indicate that the introduction of health-oriented recreational beach football activities in summer recreation camps leads to a statistically significant improvement in the psycho-emotional state of adolescents. An increase in well-being, activity, and mood indicators was recorded, which confirms the effectiveness of the program as an efficient means of psycho-emotional support and health promotion for adolescents.
