Advancement and Trends in High-Throughput Analysis of Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables: A Comprehensive Review

An overview of the recent research works and trends in high-throughput analysis for pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables is presented in this paper. In this paper, the regulatory regulations and current situation on pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables around the world in recent years are summarized by searching the world’s authoritative pesticide database. This paper focuses on elaborating the research progress of high-throughput analysis of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables from aspects such as the development of sample extraction and pretreatment methods for purification, the upgrading and application of high-throughput analysis and detection instruments, and the principle of matrix effect and compensation methods and makes predictions on its development trend. This review will be valuable to monitor the quality and safety of fruits and vegetables, as well as the application of high-throughput analysis of multipesticide residues in fresh food product.
